
Kate Habel
TCRG (1998)
Kate takes special pride in the tremedous success of her efforts to coordinate, teach and coach Cashel Academy’s many ceili teams. Kate is a graduate of Marquette University with a BA in History. She has been a part of Cashel Academy for over 20 years. Kate teaches all levels and is the major choreographer for our shows.
Laura Gottschlich
Laura has been with Cashel Academy for over 25 years and began assistant teaching alongside Mr. Dennehy in 1991. After receiving her TCRG in 1995, she continued to teach in Milwaukee and also began a branch of Cashel Academy (formerly Scoil Roe Dennehy) in Door County WI where she taught for 10 years while attending medical school, residency and fellowship in Chicago. In 2005, she moved back to Milwaukee to become Director of Sports Medicine at the St. Joseph Family Medicine Residency Program. She continues to pursue her love of dance medicine working with the Milwaukee Ballet and many of the local Irish dance schools. Laura teaches beginners through Championship level and has a special interest in preparing our teams and upper level dancers for Regional, National, and World competition.


Caitlin O’Connor
Caitlin has been dancing with Cashel Academy for 14 years and teaching for 7 years. She has competed on the national and world stage, most recently placing in the top half of her competition in Montreal. Caitlin is currently attending Carroll University in a doctor of physical therapy program. Caitlin is grateful for her dance wins, but more than that, she is thankful for the memories and friends that she now calls family, as well as a career that she loves.
Natalia Gess
Natalia grew up in Milwaukee and started dancing at Cashel Academy when she was 4 years old. Natalia danced competitively through high school. She is proud to have been a part of teams that won regionals, nationals and placed 2nd at the 2014 Worlds competition. She went to college in New York and taught classes when she was home on breaks. After college she returned to Wisconsin to attend law school. She is currently living in Madison and is an attorney in Sauk County. Natalia teaches Prizewinner and PC/Champ level classes and enjoys working with Oireachtas soloists and teams. She also runs the social media accounts for Cashel Academy.


Sarah grew up in Milwaukee and daced competitively on teams and as a soloist with Cashel Academy for 14 years. She competed at the local, regional, national and world level – placing top 3 in worlds with her team three times! Sarah began assistant teaching at Cashel Academy in high school and continued throughout her time in college at Marquette. She has taught at all levels of dancers and currently is an RN in the NICU at Children’s Wisconsin.
